Bernie began her career as an image consultant learning the importance
of color. She has studied extensively with some of the
industry’s leading color experts, is now a certified color
designer and holds the designation of CDI (Certified Color Designer).
She counsels professionals on the use of color and the powerful
non-verbal message it sends. Among her many clients, Bernie enjoys
working with law firms to help them project the best image in court
cases. She advises attorneys and their clients on styles to choose or
avoid in specific situations. In an all-important case where people are
determining a person’s future, image plays a critical role.
Bernie is a past president of Colour Designers International, was on
the Board of the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of AICI, the
Association of Image Consultants International, from 2002 to 2007, and
is AICI’s International Vice President Member Communications
for 2007–2009. Now located in Eugene, Oregon, Bernie
specializes in personal color design for individuals and is a
sought-after presenter of training programs on appropriate business
attire and other aspects of appearance, behavior, and communication.
