Sonya Barnes, President of Harris & Barnes Image Consulting, a
professional development company, is a certified image consultant and
an associate member of the AICI. She has received formal training by
the world’s leading image masters in color, style and wardrobe
development. Possessing strong leadership skills, she is known as the
“go-to” consultant for many of her peers, and often sought
out to speak to many private and public organizations and provide
workshops and seminars on visual appearance, and verbal and non-verbal
communications.
She is a founding member of the Atlanta AICI Chapter where she has
served on executive committees including VP of Communications, VP of
Programs and Chapter President. In 2008, she earned an appointed
position on the International Board of AICI as VP of Education,
overseeing the education and ethical aspects of the trade association.
She is a faculty member at the internationally renowned London Image
Institute based in Atlanta, Georgia where she serves as Master Trainer
for style development and menswear, as well as corporate image and
communications. Sonya’s company has now expanded globally to
include clients in Singapore and Hong Kong where she teaches the
business of image and brand strategy.
